Live in Nigeria. Free for every Nigerian worker.

If something happened at work and you had nowhere to turn.

No HR. No union. No one who'd take your side. We built SafeGuard Workers for exactly that moment. Record what happened, own your evidence, and understand your rights under the Labour Act. Free, private, and available in English, Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo.

Free. Not "free for now."

The scale of the problem in Nigeria

23.6M+

Nigerian workers affected by workplace abuse every year

65M+

informal sector workers with no HR, no union, no record

80M

total Nigerian labour force (NBS 2022–2023)

<5%

of incidents are ever formally reported or documented

Think about that last number. Less than 5%. Not because it isn't happening, but because most workers have no HR, no union, and no way to prove it did. SafeGuard Workers is the first step to changing that for every Nigerian worker, not just the ones with formal contracts.

Our mission
I kept hearing the same story. Someone went through something real at work, and they stayed quiet because they were scared. Scared of losing their job. Their visa. Their income. That fear is what SafeGuard Workers exists to remove.

Every Nigerian worker. Every sector.

Who we built this for

Most reporting tools were built for people who already had HR departments. We built ours for everyone who didn't.

Live in Nigeria

Formal Sector Workers

You work in a bank, hospital, telecom, or factory. Something happened and HR should've dealt with it but didn't. SafeGuard Workers lets you document it yourself, privately, so you're not depending on your employer to investigate a complaint about your employer.

Live in Nigeria

Informal Sector Workers

Market traders, artisans, site workers, transport operators. Nobody built a reporting tool for you until now. Free. No paperwork. No lawyer needed to get started.

Live in Nigeria

Domestic Workers

House helps, drivers, cooks, cleaners. Nigeria's most overlooked workers. We built a rights card, a contract template, and an incident log specifically for you, in four languages, because you deserve the same protection as everyone else.

Coming soon

Nigerian Workers Abroad

Dealing with workplace abuse overseas is hard enough without distance making it harder. We're building cross-border tools so location isn't yet another barrier on top of everything else.

Trust & Transparency

We know trust has to be earned. So here is everything, no fine print, no vague reassurances.

It's free. Not "free for now."

Not free with limits. Not free until you need the good features. Just free, for every Nigerian worker, whether you're in a bank, a market, or a family home. We make money from organisations and advocates who pay to access anonymised member data. Workers never pay anything.

Your data belongs to you.

Everything you submit is encrypted and stored securely. Your employer cannot see it, legally or technically. We're compliant with Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023. If you ever want your data deleted, that's your right and we'll honour it.

Report in your own language.

Reporting something you went through in a language you're not fully comfortable in shouldn't be the reason you don't report it. SafeGuard Workers is available in English, Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo, with more languages coming.

Built around Nigerian law.

When you log an incident here, we structure it around Nigeria's Labour Act, the NAPTIP Act, and Ministry of Labour regulations. So if you ever need to take it further, to a lawyer, a tribunal, or the police, you've already got something that means something.

Nurudeen built SafeGuard Workers alone. The backend, the AI layer, the frontend, the cloud infrastructure. Every line of it. Not because he had a team, but because he saw something that was genuinely hurting people and decided to do something about it.

He has an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and he's completing an AI/ML Executive Education programme. What that means practically: he brings serious engineering thinking to problems that are deeply human. Working out how a machine should understand the nuance of workplace abuse is not just a technical challenge. It matters.

SAAN-HUB Solutions Ltd is the company he founded, incorporated in Newport, Wales in September 2024. It also runs as an AI/ML consultancy helping other organisations build with data and technology. That commercial side is part of what funds the free worker platform.

He grew up in Nigeria. He is now based in London and Cardiff. When he built SafeGuard Workers, he did not choose one or the other. He built for both. Because the Nigerian worker in Lagos selling goods without a contract deserves the same protection as the nurse in Manchester who is afraid to speak up about a violent patient.

Our story

How we got here

01

2023

Where the idea started

Nurudeen placed Top 10 at the national Rolls-Royce coding challenge and spoke at Wales Tech Week. He was already asking questions about who technology actually serves and who it leaves out. Those questions started becoming something concrete.

02

Sep 2024

SAAN-HUB Solutions Ltd is founded

Registered in Newport, Wales, Companies House No. 15948744. The legal and commercial foundation is in place. Now it's time to build.

03

2024 to 2025

Built entirely by one person

Backend. AI layer. Frontend. Cloud deployment. One engineer, working through all of it alone across Supabase, Google Cloud, and Vercel. No co-founder. No funding round. Just the work.

04

2025

Live in Nigeria

SafeGuard Workers goes live in Nigeria. The first platform of its kind for Nigerian workers, formal, informal, and domestic. Real people using it in the moments it actually matters.

05

2026 onwards

A team, real partnerships, what's next

A cross-functional team is assembled. Union partnerships are forming. AI agent infrastructure is in development. The mission is the same. The ability to deliver on it is growing.

Our values

What we stand for

Worker First

If a feature doesn't directly help the worker, we don't build it. Employers, unions, regulators, they all come second.

Your evidence, yours.

It can't be tampered with. It can't be seen by your employer. It is built to hold up if it ever needs to.

Remove every barrier.

Free because cost is a barrier. Four languages because language is a barrier. Confidential because fear is the biggest barrier of all.

AI that actually helps.

The AI helps surface patterns, classify incidents, and build your case. Not to monitor you, profile you, or share anything with anyone who should not have it.

What happened to you deserves to be recorded.

Whatever it was, write it down, record your voice, take a photo. Own that evidence. Decide what to do with it later. You don't need a lawyer to start. You don't need money. You just need a few minutes and a phone.
